Tiny snail shells are combined with an assortment of plant, rock, and other elements to create these miniature ocean scenes. I made these pendants with a wavy mold to further the look and feel of waves and beachiness.
After coloring the resin a sea green color and allowing it to cure, I added a background color of white. Each one was painstakingly sanded and polished and then I added tiny hooks for fastening them to chains.
I made 6 of these, each one is a different shape and each is unique. They are on a variety of chain lengths. Choose the one of your liking and I will send it right out to you.
Note: All resin projects are prone to tiny bubbles which arise during the curing process. These are normal, although I try to keep them minimal. Being seascapes, they are great additions when they do happen. They are generally not as noticeable as the enlarged pictures make them appear. Please store away from strong sunlight since that can fade the plant material and eventually cause the resin to yellow.
