This large teardrop pendant features a 'Louis Phillipe' rose that I grew in my garden. After drying it I preserved it, along with some fern leaf, in a faceted resin oval shape. Then I poured a black resin background. I added some tiny rhinestone chain to the border and used a crystal-studded leaf bail to attach it to the 24" sterling silversnake chain.
This unique, one of a kind necklace would make a very romantic gift for Valentine's day or Mother's day.

*Note that all resin creations with botanical items are inherently susceptible to small bubbles forming during the curing process. This is just part of the uniqueness of each item. They are generally not as noticeable as the enlarged pictures make them appear. Store away from strong sunlight, since that can cause fading of the plants and yellowing of the resin over time.
