I had fun with this one! A spider, a tiny hemlock cone, some pieces of plant material and flakes of gold foil and glitter are combined to evoke an ancient piece of amber. I used a tinted resin to capture the objects and freeze them in time. I added a bit of gold finish to the back.
The piece is 2 3/8 inches wide by 3/4 inch tall by 1/2 inch thick. I made a copper wire stand for it, which will be included. I made one for my grandson, but my daughter stole it from him and hung it on a lamp :) .

*Note that all resin creations with botanical items are inherently susceptible to small bubbles forming during the curing process. This is just part of the uniqueness of each item. They are generally not as noticeable as the enlarged pictures make them appear. Store away from direct sunlight as that can fade the plant material and eventually cause the resin to yellow. (Not that it would matter for this one!)
